Evergreen trees are not only good for screening but they provide colour all year round. In general, they are a little slower growing than their deciduous conterparts and a little bit more expensive. But for structure and impact they are hard to beat!

Prunus laurocerasus

                   A cherry laurel grown into a tree. Very tough and dense canopy.

Evergreen oak with lovely bark but slow growing.
